Looks good! Looks like you sanded it before applying? I have always wondered how that stuff would hold up on wheels. Black wheels would look good on my white taco truck.

I sanded it only because the previous owner had put roll on bed liner on it. Took some 80 grit paper and an orbital sander and got it off and smoothed out.

I redid the black vinyl areas on my last truck in plastidip. Looks good but peeled on high use areas. Plastic paint would be better

I have recently started experimenting with Flex Seal Liquid. I love this stuff.

Tons of videos on YouTube of people doing wheels. Most say it holds up for over a year if applied correctly. They key is tons of coats. The thicker you put it on there, the easier it is to peel off.

cool. I did the grill of my jeep with plastidip to help with rock chips and it looked cool. I did not sand it, it might be a bear to remove. I have had it done 3 years now and the last 2 years I have just gone over the original with a fresh coat. works like a champ.

I did my emblems and wheels on my truck. All has held up just fine so far. Good prep work, and multiple light coats is the key!

Get on the Tacoma forum and check the Wheels & Tires section. There are several on there who have done it. I did the badges on my 2013 white Taco. I had TRD black faux beadlocks so I did not have to worry about the wheels. I just bought a white TSS Tundra with the black scheme. Now I am trying to get rid of the chrome.

Finished the fenders this evening. Racks tomorrow! Not going to plastidip them though, just spray paint. Will be dipping gas tank cover also.

Should have camo wrapped it while you had it apart.
I hate photobucket.

Did you tape over the decals or get new ones?
I would have gone with the free not fenders and back fenders being different colors.
