Thinking of trying this lake for the first time is it a good lake or should I look for others near South of Dallas

It is so-so... I lucked into a few nice fish last month on a hump down from bass Pro and out from the jetty north of the power plant. There are several folks that will swear by Hubbard and that it can rival the big boys such as Fork, Rayburn, etc....

Took 21 pounds yesterday to win Hubbard tournament yesterday! Saw several 18-20 pound limits!

If you know how to fish, it can kick out some major weight! Spring time it's 30+ to win..

I've been told it can put out big fish and big sacks but it takes a long time to figure out and will kick your but in the process.

We had some guys fish it for the first time in FFAC yesterday and weigh in good sacks of fish. Right place, right time

It's a good lake at times, and yesterday it was good. Marina's have been fishing well

I would not be surprised if the winning stringer came from up north...

It's a tough one if you don't know how to fish it.

As with any lake, you gotta put a little time in to figure it out...Hubbard can be very rewarding at times.
