Did I miss the congrats to the LA Dodgers thread?
Now I am just waiting... Can Houston finish it tonight or does NY bring the upset?
Either way, the Dodgers are en fuego and will be tough for anyone to beat.

My opinion is the Dodgerr will be WS champs regardless if Houston or NY but the games still have to be played so we will see.

The Dodgers have finally figured out how to buy their way to the WS
After being the highest salaried club for the past 5-6 years I would have figured they would have made it sooner

The Dodgers have finally figured out how to buy their way to the WS
After being the highest salaried club for the past 5-6 years I would have figured they would have made it sooner
Just saying Dan Sour grapes man. There are highly paid teams who did not do jack. Giants were number 5 and were so far below 500 they could not see it. Rangers number 8 and did not ever have a real shot at the playoffs. BTW the Yanks were only 10 mil. under LA. Pointing out that good teams in sports often spend a lot of money is pure hating. Just saying.

^^^The Astros payroll will go up dramatically in the next 2 years or you will be seeing some of their young stars in differenct uniforms.

I wish the Rangers would buy their way to a WS win. No kidding, me too!! The stars only lined up right for them a very few times in the normal scheme of the Rangers Way and that didn't work. Buying their way in and winning it would be an exciting thing to see!

My sister works for the AAA team, they gave her tix and she went to LA for the NLCS, she may get WS tix.
