Just got my new mega 9 installed. Would like to know if there are setting that can be tweaked for the di/si. I know every situation is a little different...just looking for a good starting point. I was out with a guide this weekend and his was much sharper.
Thanks Will

There are several settings to tweak. The DI and SI have separate settings for sensitivity and contrast. Either look thru the CD that came with the unit or find someone close by that has a mega type unit and ask them. Call the guide you were out with and he can give you some advice. If you're close to Fork, hire Slade Dougharty (817-797-8762) to tune your unit. After his tutorial, your unit will show you things you didn't know were there.

Will It is very difficult for anyone to tell you how to set your unit, as there are many variables dealing with each unit. The only accurate way is to have someone on-board that knows how to tune a 'Bird. If David doesn't have time to help, let me know. Mine are tuned pretty good....after a couple years of tweaking.

Get on YouTube and search for a guy by the name Doug 'Vahrenberg. Not positive if thats the correct spelling but he has many tutorials on how to tune a bird.
