130 views. No responses. Either no one is fishing Bonham or they've all been sworn to secrecy.

Definitely the latter... lol the Bonham Thursday night or Saturday, whatever day it is, the championship for it is next Saturday, the 28th. Going to be short on info til after that... I know for a fact of a few people catching some really nice fish there but personally have not been there. Ill be there for 4-5 days in a couple weeks though.

I was there today. I caught a few but it was no picnic. Biggest was maybe 3.5# with my lure in its mouth. I also caught a big crappie long lining a 6XD.

Fished it from noon till 5:00PM today. Had to fight the wind but had quite a few bites on docks on points as well as the reeds along the points. Fish were very shallow and pretty aggressive. Best bait was a 3/8oz Texas rig craw in Cali 420 with claws dipped in chart. Could not get a moving bait bite at all. It was my first time on the lake and would have liked to be able to really fish more thoroughly but the wind made it hard to set up on the areas I felt were holding fish. Still a fun few hours. No big fish but some solid keepers and such.
