Made a trip with my saltwater buddy yesterday. We put 42 in the box. The majority of the fish came off brush piles in 17-22 FOW suspended at the normal 12ft. A few fish came off timber in 15-17 FOW but not many. We'd catch 4-6 fish per pile and then have to give them a break and come back later. Baits of choice were Constant Pursuit Outfitters Thump Chubbies in CC Special and Bacon Grease with just the tip of the tail(1/8") dipped in chartreuse. I really like the way Lane pours his baits one solid color because I prefer to dip the tails myself. To me I just don't like the way most companies' baits are finished with the whole tail poured. Fish are starting to put on some winter weight and are full of shad.
Columbus took a chance and he made it.
