Two years ago I started my grandson Malachi Bass fishing. I've introduced him to golf, hunting, archery but he's head over heals over bass fishing. He's joined the Lone star Jr. Bassmasters and he's currently among one of the leaders on the board. He recently started the first ever sanctioned high school bass club Burleson including two high schools. They compete against other schools in their district, 100 plus boats in a monthly tournament is not unusual. I'm so proud that this is a positive thing in his life, he's 14 and when he gets his drivers license and still into bass fishing I'm going to give him my 17' Nitro to get him going on his own.

Just Excellent. Keep sharing your knowledge and keep teaching. There is nothing like watching a young fisherman work his way up to greatness.

Good thing is you'll always know where he is, fishing. Good deal granpa. thumb

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

Right; he went pre-fished Ray Robert yesterday, he and his buddy came home and fished till dark at a city pond in Burleson, he's there right now, and I thought I was a Bass Addict. roflmao

Good for you! It would be awesome to see him on the stage one day hoisting the trophy at one of the Bass Master events!
