Man things just keep going great on Whitney! More Fish than any historical record and the hottest striper lake in Texas! That is per Texas Parks and Wildlife and I believe it. It's a pain on the weekend sometimes with all the boats on the water but on the other hand it is great to see. All the businesses are benefitting from, local stores scrambling to keep their shelves stocked, and the catching remains incredible with limits being caught every trip. I have one day open this week and a couple next week. Still catching fish on the flats with small ledges and/or roadbeds. Did get in them suspended at 30' in 70' of water one day, a huge school of fish and limited out in less than 2 hours with 20 fish then caught and released for a while. Double check your license before coming out, the Game Warden wrote several tickets the other day for expired license. They are out there on the weekends. All my fish are still being caught on white 1/2 oz jigs with the Lemon Lime 7" Snake Trailer from www.stripersnipertackle.com If ordering remember to use the (Whitney15) code at check out to get a 15% discount.

Best of catch that day and Ms. Jeri with her first fish ever!

Happy Happy Happy!

Another fine limit of Whitney Linesiders!

God Bless you all and hope some day soon to, "See Ya on the Water!" To book your fishing adventure call 817-822-5539!

Downrigging still producing. 1/2 oz white Bucktail jigs with either white or the Lemon Lime 7" snake worm trailer. I'm going to try and post up some pics of the past few days from my phone in a bit. Wish me luck lol.

Loading these from my phone. Not sure why they're loading sideways.

Well shoot, that didn't work out. Try one more time. Took today off with the prediction of high north winds and rain.

Ok, sitting at a computer now, lets see if this goes any better! Had a great few days on the water slaying the Linesiders and met some great people. Had the pleasure of meeting and fishing with Austin (TFF'R), his wife Amy and son Evan. Bad timing fishing the day after a front and in a 15moh north wind but we made the best of it and still caught fish. Little slow starting but then they turned on and get got busy for a little while. Water temps are dropping and most of the fish are finally starting to gain weight. Some of the smaller fish appear they recently came out from below the thermocline all head and tail and not much in between. Great times to come on Whitney on the next few weeks with the satellite schools of stripers that will start to merge in to larger schools actively chasing shad and trapping the to the surface or in the cuts along the bluffs and shores. Here's a few pics of the last few trips on Whitney!

Here's a couple of pictures wit Austin, Amy and Evan, They were throwing fish back faster than I could take pictures lol. Had a great time with some great folks. All catch and release today no catch and fillet club here lol!

Unfortunately Photo Bucket or operator error is preventing me from uploading more pictures! Had a great time this past week, fishing is awesome, the fish are gaining weight, cooler temps! What more could you ask for. Give me a shout, love to have ya down and put you on some fish! Catching up on some Honey Do's today then going to hit the Deer woods and see if I can poke a hole in something!
