Since I have pretty much given up fishing, I am considering selling my bass boat and all my tackle. I have thought about selling the boat and tackle as separate packages, and also as a single package. Only tackle I will keep are a couple of catfish rods and my catfish tackle. I have many new packages of soft plastic bass baits, new in the box crank baits, and new spinnerbaits. There are about a dozen soft tackle bags, many hard plastic tackle boxes (Plano Stow Away style) and lots more. I think there are 16 rods and reels. Everything is low usage.
The boat and motor are very low hours, I have only been fishing a few times over the last couple of years due to my wife's cancer.

I'm just wondering what would be the best way to sell. One package, two packages, or even sell off the tackle in pieces?

If you have the time to price everything separately you would probably get more money that way. If you just want to get rid of it all and not deal with it I'd sell packages.

That is the main reason I'm asking. I can sell for less just to get it gone.

There’s been times that I’ve considered doing the same thing, I think I’d just sell the whole thing as a lump sum and let the buyer have the misery of reselling it all.

I'm leaning towards selling it as a package, and a buyer would be getting a really good deal. It would be a way to get into bass fishing with a one stop deal.

Package deal if you want to be done with it, and that might take a while.
Separately if you want more $$.

Blessings to your wife and to you.

Selling it individually you will get more money. But it's a big hassle to do it.
