Going out tomorrow to try the crappie. What depth should I be looking in and what structure should I be fishing? Not asking for specific locations just general information to get me started. Haven't fished since March so I'm a lot rusty.

My wife and I caught em in 14 to 16 feet of water. We were using pink sixteenth oz heads and using a thermocline lil fry in their citric acid color. Caught half our fish on willow brush that I put out and half on submerged trees. Good luck.
