Lake Fork Anglers twice monthly Thursday daytime tournament for Oct 12 the fish are biting but it was a slow day with the lake turning over right now. Man was the water surface dirty. Square bills, c-rigs, spinner baits and t-rigs caught the most fish. The weather was good but still hot.

First Place Angler went to Bob Roberts of Longview again with a 7 keeper fish culled to a 5 fish bag of 11.91 anchored by a 6.28 lunker.
Second place went to Charlie Abresch of Hawkins with 5 fish coming in at 11.49 with a 5.08 lunker.
Third place went to Galen Smith of Alba with 3 fish at 7.82 lb with The 6.4 lunker.
Fourth place went to Dennis Bubinas of Lake Fork again with a 7 fish bag at 7.55 with a 2.13 lunker
Fifth place went to Tim Gold of Mineola with 6 bass for 5.62 with a 1.63 lunker.
First place went to Butch Grove of Sulphur Springs with a 8 fish bag for 9.36 with The 3.31 lunker
Second place went to John Markos of Paris with 4 bass for 8.91 lb with a 3.46 lunker..
Third place went to Randy Fugate of Corsicana for 6.44 lb with a 2.74 lunker.
Fourth place went to Stijn Lens of Belgium with 3 fish for 4.59 lb with a 1.82 lunker.
Fifth place went to Perry Sanders of Lake Fork with 2 bass for 2.94 with a 1.49 lunker.
Only 76 total fish were caught on Thursday.

Dues is $5 a year. Tournaments are $12 with an optional $5 lunker pot and an optional $10 big bag pot.
In 2016 the LFA fished 25 times, You have to fish at least 8 to maintain membership. And you have to fish 8 times to be eligible to fish our other two formats: Major league Fishing (known as Hard Core) and the team format known as Faze 4.
