I have eight of them for my boat. Superbly made and perform perfectly. No regrets.

I have 12. I have 4 of a Different brand but the threads rusted - gonna replace them with FishBite as Fishbites stems and threads are stainless steel.....

My Driftmasters are stainless as well. What brand did you buy that rusted? I find it hard to believe a fishing rod holder would be made of anything but stainless.

Drift master makes them in stainless and plated. I always have to call and talk to a rep at Driftmasters about getting the stainless in the 1/2 size. They are not redially available in 1/2. My cousin has the non stainless ones, and they hold up pretty good, but rust where he has scratched the plating off with the jam nut.

I haven't really compared rod holders. I bought Monster for their package deal and 2 free boat decals.
