This is spot on. Even a skinny fish that long will go at least 7. I'd say pretty confidently that it goes 7.5

This fish is definitely on the healthy side of skinny but I've weighed a sick 21" 3.5lb largemouth before. Caught her on a fluke right at the boat and didn't even get a hook in her. She just grabbed the lure and swam into the net.

This fish doesn't look like a sick fish but I still think she's only 6-6.5. Maybe 7.5-8 when she fills out.
