Been really busy a lot this year with blue cat trips but I'm starting to run a lot more crappie trips as the water temp starts to cool down. This past week I had really good trips on Grapevine, Lewisville and Ray Roberts. The Grapevine trip had a cold front come thru about an hour after the trip started and it killed the bite for about 3 hours. They did get some nice quality fish on brush and rocks and ended up with some good fish. Lewisville trip had lots of dinks caught and they ended up with 25 keepers. Lewisville has a steady bite on rocks, ledges and bridges. Ray Roberts brush piles are starting for heat up and customer managed an nice limit on brush piles and a few trees. Really seeing some big fat crappie and customer yesterday caught 7 fish bigger than his current personal best on Roberts. We are catching on jigs and minnows both. I still have some spots open here and there during October and already filling spots in November.

Good job, Jacky! And thank you for your generosity under the bridge last week. Wife put that jig combo to good use and caught several, though most were undersize.

Thanks Greg it was good to see you again and nice to meet your wife. Glad she caught some fish. We came back later that afternoon and pulled a few more keepers out as well.
