hasd anyone had line cut problems due to the zebra mussles growing on the timber and rocks?
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

yes, cut clean too, the warm water they will be shallow, as it cools they will go deeper. I have lost a lot of fish due to zebra mussels, just have to learn to live with them because they are not going anwywhere

Fish on Belton regularly. Line cut issues not terribly bad. I check my line much more frequently than before the Zebra's arrived and find I am retying more often due to abrasion.

Same as T-bird, just keep checking your line. I do understand that around the first of the year, Spider Wire will be coming out with a aluminum coated braid. That should help with the Zebra Mussels.

The same type of "wear and tear" has been around long before i even knew what zebra mussels were. I just cut off and retie. No way for me to know if those are causing it or not.

You'd think some researchers in modern aquatic biology would be able to come up with something to make them unable to reproduce that's not harmful to the environment.
