I am looking for someone to do repair on a couple of rods in the Conroe area. Please let me know of anyone you highly recommend. I need one guide replaced on a rod and I need a reel seat redone where the adhesive has came loose from blank. Thank you.

Don't know anyone in Conroe, but Tackle Hut in Houston can take care of you. They are just off IH-45 on West Little York, at 216 West Little York, Suite C, in Houston. Their phone number is 713/694-8008. I have a fly rod blank waiting to be built that I probably won't get to work on until December, if not next year, or I'd offer to help.
You might check with the Academy in Conroe; they may have someone who does their repairs.
