The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our eighth members only tournament on Saturday September 23rd on our home lake, Ray Hubbard. You would think delaying the tournament two weeks as we had to, would have brought fall weather more in to play, but this was not the case. Sunny and hot were the words of the day. Catching keepers was tough for most of the 39 boats that came out to fish. When all was said and done, the Medina Brothers, Andy and Ricky cemented their AOY year by catching a limit for 15.75 pounds to take home the win. Their bag was anchored by a 7.16 toad that got big bass honors. Here are full results and pictures.

Vince Burt and Mark Werner had a rough day catching two keepers for 3.33

Paul Spann and Roderick Yeager had just one but she weighed 4.18

David Mulkey and Arturo Murga had three for 4.35

Robert Hitt and John Bruner had three for 5.06

Ed Ham and Terry Nash had four for an adjusted 5.79

Roddy Bieber fished with Bryan Toombs and they weighed two for 5.90. Here's Bryan with a good one.

Brian Brooks and James Sharp had two for 6.07 that included a 4.67

Chris Atkinson and myself had three for 6.18

Ronnie Manning and Capp Peace show two of their five for 7.97

Brian Roether and Brad Reagan had four for 8.30

Garrett Macias and Mike Lapoint had a limit for 8.72

The last check went to Russell Olds and Matt Jackson who weighed just two fish for 10.42 that included a 6.36 kicker. A tip of the hat to Illustrious Action Baits.

Paul Villarreal and Joe Ruiz continued their success on Hubbard with a fifth place finish with a limit for 10.58

Always a threat on Ray Hubbard, Doug Rener and Danny Wims had five for 12.62 to finish fourth.

Here's Danny with their 4.71 kicker.

Third place went to James Clifton and Justin Bloch with a good limit that weighed 12.85

Second place went to long time RHBC members Robert Oleson and Brandon Putnam with an outstanding stringer that weighed 14.79 and included a 5.13 kicker.

Here are your winners. Continuing the tear that they have been on all year, Andy and Ricky Medina weighed a limit for 15.75 for the win.

Here's Andy with big bass of the tournament, a 7.16 Hubbard monster

Thanks to everyone that came out to fish. Thanks to Chandlers Landing for providing a great place to do registration and weigh in. Thanks to our Tournament Directors, Robert Hitt, Paul Spann and David Mulkey and their partners who did a great job and to David Simmons for keeping the money straight and getting their long before the crack of dawn to get everyone registered. Our ninth and last regular season tournament comes up on Saturday October 14th on Lake Texoma. Registration and weigh in will take place at Highport Marina. Hope to see you there!
