Would anyone be able to tell me where I might start looking for brushpiles on Richland. Understand they are in 16-20 feet of water. After that no clue. I'd like to put my son on some fish. Thanks in advance!

Brush piles usually get placed in areas protected from the prevailing south-southeast wind so they are fish-able.

Never been on Richland but it's been my experience on other lakes that anywhere you think looks like a good place to put a brush pile...somebody already has. Check you map for drop offs, creek channels, points, and humps. If Richland has any bridges over deep water, you'll want to try them too. Good Luck!

Not many folks fish RC so there aren't near as many brushpiles built as other Lakes have. Plus it's a 45,000 acre pond with 320 miles of shoreline . If you have a good SI Graph, check out the Shoreline from Fisherman's Point and go West for 5 or 6 miles. You will find several. The 287 Bridge in 20' FOW is good this time of year too. Good Luck!
