Went out with a buddy for the first time on Ray Roberts to prefish and get a feel of the lake since I’ve never been there before. Focused on the standing timber since that seems to be what every targets on the lake. Only caught 4 spotted bass and two short largemouth before noon. But at 12:30 ish I caught a 7.76 to really make the day a great day and funny thing it was the only keeper. (sorry for blurring the background I usually do not but this was a big fish and don’t want people to go tear up the place looking for her)
Thanking the lord for another day on the water

Nice one! Didn't have to wipe the background. There's enough left for most who know the lake to know about where that was.

Been over 15 years since I've been on that lake and I live in Texarkana now. So, there is no way I could find the spot.

Ha! The background didn't help to much. I don't know that lake too well, but I do where that is. Nice fish!!! By the way, I think most of us on here are courteous enough to not go wear that area out just because someone caught a fatty there... LOL! Someone should put a put a link to this in that recent "How many rods do you need to catch bass" thread. All the replies were "I usually have about 20 on deck!" That's obviously not the case here Congrats!!

Don't give a hoot about that spot but would love to know where you got the hat and glasses, those are hot.
