Hello. I have been juggling the options on a new worm rod. I generally throw 3/16 tungsten with 7 inch plastics and 12lb fluoro. I like the feel of the Duckett and the micro guides. Is the 6'8" MH going to provide enough leverage on longer casts or should I be looking at the 7'? I appreciate any input.

For what's it worth.
My 2 Ghost series med. action rods lasted just over a year. Both snapped (1 on cast, 1 while lifting 2lb. fish) within two weeks of each other. My Ghost series 7' med. heavy rod still ok, but not sure for how long.
I treat/store rods with care, so I'm a pretty disappointed with the Duckett's.
I swapped both broken Ghost series at Academy for Garcia Veritas med action rods and happy with them so far.

If you like the way the ghosts feel, go buy you dobyns fury 704 medium or medium heavy in fast action for $109. Come back here and try not to grin when you thank me.
I got the 703sf (medium fast action) for senkos, light Texas rigs, even top waters and it is much better than my higher end Duckett micro magic pros.
