Drove past the lake yesterday on my way to Angelo, and the Concho river looked like the Raging Rapids at Six Flags.....

Hopefully it catches a LOT of water from this rain and gets some relief.

Its 37' low and at 20% capacity.

Anyone been fishing out there lately?

Been watching the rain on the radar this week cuz last weekend they were predicting 5 to 9 inches out there this week. Not sure how much they have received, but I don't think they've gotten that much. Anything is a blessing though.

I've been watching storms roll through for the past 3 years that have carried a ton of rain but hasn't seemed to bring it up much at all. I has rained here in Abilene since Tuesday around noon. It would be nice to see it come up a few feet before winter. Reset and next spring should be awesome. Come on Ivie!

Flow from the concho has slowed to nearly nothing, looking from my porch the lake may have caught a little more than a foot or so. Have some more rain on the way and maybe it will pick up some more.
