I am putting a new deck on my boat and am thinking about installing flush mounted holders in the deck itself.. that way, they are always there when I need them but they are out of the way when I don't. They come in different angles. I was thinking of using a 30 degree flush mounted holder for drift fishing.. would that be the right angle?

Something like this:

I welcome your thoughts

Those will work but you can't change the angle. I have driftmaster gimbal mount T bars that slide in and out of those flush mounts. Pull em out and store em if your throwing for bait or not using. My bait table is also on one of these mounts. texas

Those flush mount will work. I had those and Bee Readys on my Bluewave. I could drift 6-8 rods easily

Thanks for the feedback. I hate to start drilling holes in the brand new deck before I think a bit more about this.

You may look at BeeReady's and see if they have an option for you.
