I have a day down in Houston area in October and I'm trying to make the most of a work trip down there. Can anyone recommend a good bass guide on these lakes for a decent price.

Butch Terpe on Conroe, but it will be multi-species.

Dunno one on Livingston.

Clark Reehm and Stephen Johnston on Rayburn.

Butch is a good Conroe guide and someone who I would recommend as well.

Go to Fayetteville County about 1.5 hour west of Houston. You can catch a bunch there. Or go to Rayburn. I would stsy away from Conroe unless you want to fish for a low number of fish which could be decent ones.

Rickie Y'Barbo has been catching some big fish on Rayburn. He keeps Facebook posted.

Butch is great and keeps it simple and affordable. Rayburn is a solid 2.5 hr drive from houston but a good guide makes it worth it. Fayette is good for numbers but not size if youre trophy hunting

A guide trip to Livingston wouldn't be worth a [censored] even if y'all caught them lol. One dude I meet at a TXTT tournament on Texoma said he guided on Livingston but I didn't see his name for championship so who knows

I second the idea of going to Fayette...lot of 3-5 pound fish in that lake. A buddy and I caught 30 bass this past Saturday...but we had a boat.

Bob Green is the only full time guide that I know of...information below.
