The Ray Hubbard Bass Cub will (finally) be having our eighth members only tournament of 2017, Saturday September 23rd on Lake Ray Hubbard. Here is the information -

� When: Saturday September 23rd
� Where: Lake Ray Hubbard - Chandlers Landing Marina - ($10.00 launch fee collected at registration)
� Time: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
� Registration: 5:30 AM - 6:15 AM
� Entry Fee: $60.00 per boat � 2 person maximum


You MUST be an RHBC member to fish this tournament. We do not accept membership at the launch ramp, so if you want to fish this one, you will have needed to join the Club at our meeting this Thursday night at BPS Garland. Here is a link to the meeting information.

Registration will be at the ramp starting at 5:30 on Saturday morning. When you register you will be given a numbered chip. You will need to to turn your chip in by placing it on the board to get your fish weighed. You can then launch or trailer and go to your spot. If you are going to launch at Chandlers, RHBC has a special launch fee of $10.00 there. We will collect this fee when you register, If you are a member there you do not need to pay. If you are trailering to another ramp, you do not pay. No lines in the water until 6:30. Lines out at 2:30.

There will be a 30 minute dead water period where no fishing is allowed at the end of the day. This is to give members time to get off the water, and the TD's time to get the weigh in set up. The chip must be back on the board with the Tournament Director by 3:00. The board will be on the patio at Chandlers. Weigh in will start then. If your chip is not on the board by 3:00, a 1 pound per minute penalty will be assessed. After 15 minutes your catch will be disqualified. You will be called to the scales by boat number. Leave your fish in the live well until your number is called! Keep the water treated! It's going to be another warm day. Take care of yourselves AND your fish! See you at the ramp!

Huge turnout for a late season meeting in the hot weather. Looks like another great turnout for the tournament as well. See everyone tomorrow!

39 boats on Mother Hubbard and for most she lived up to her nick name. Congratulations go out to Andy and Ricky Medina who continued their year long tear by weighing 15.75 pounds for the win today. That included big bass of the tournament a 7.16 toad. Full results and pictures will be posted later this coming week. Thanks to everyone who came out!

Those guys have been on fire all year!! Hats off to an excellent team that can put together a plan on the water without any prefishing!! That goes to show some of the excellent skills the anglers in this club possess. You have to show up with your A game at these tournaments

Yep, you gotta fish clean! The three we lost at the end of the day would've put us up there close, I'm sure! One of them by itself, the one my partner had on that I almost got my hand in it's mouth, would have by itself put us square in the money.
