Try flushing it. Might have some gunk in it

While flushing it add a drop or two of dawn dish soap, seems to help.

Update, flushed it and it the first stage only comes out. Tried to pull on it and it seems bound up right at the base.

Are they still under warranty? Call All Star Marine in Dallas on Dilido rd. They are an authorized service center and they just replaced the case on mine due to paint coming off. If you don't have a receipt they just check the serial number to get the production date and go by that. Seems like I remember hearing about 2 small screws inside that would come loose on some and jam everything up.

5 years on mechanical and 2 years on electrical. Just give All Star a call and they can look it up. I actually dropped mine off at Fun N Sun which is 5 minutes from my house (they are an authorized repair facility but don't do the work that I needed) and All Star picked it up from them then returned it to the same place so I didn't have any shipping or driving issues. If you look at MK's site they will give locations of where to drop it off. Very simple process and you don't have to contact MK first, just take it in and leave it.

I had no receipt nor had it registered in my name. They simply ran the serial number and did the repair with no hassles.

Probably some screws loose on the gibs. I've seen this lately.
