WTH is it with these cow eyed groups of people that walk 3 abreast down they aisle of Home Depot. At a snails pace.
They walk slow and you can't get past them from behind. If you're approaching them head on, you have to stop and it seems to take about 60 seconds before they realize that you have no where to go and one of them is going to have to move out of formation.
If the item I need is not on the aisle they are clogging up like a wad of gas station paper towels in a toilet, I will take rounders on them and can usually go down a different aisle. Sometimes they sneak up and I'm stuck.
Same thing in the grocery stores, or the center of the parking lot aisles.
1st world problem? I think it is IQ related. Pour the chlorine into that gene pool. SMDH

Every store i go to there are several people that need exactly what i need. I can go to home depot for some obscure pipe fitting and all of a sudden 5 other guys are saddled up to the same spot needing the same fitting

Not everyone goes to emoh depot to get what they need and get out. A lot of people just go in there for something to do and they are not even looking for anything or in any hurry.

It's called common sense and it is a big part of what we're lacking as a society.

Every store i go to there are several people that need exactly what i need. I can go to home depot for some obscure pipe fitting and all of a sudden 5 other guys are saddled up to the same spot needing the same fitting I encounter this same problem often as well. Same at Lowes. Today I just wanted to get my damn AC filter and get out. No one else on the air filter aisle, but the 3 wide groups more than made up for that luck on the filter aisle. Not everyone goes to emoh depot to get what they need and get out. A lot of people just go in there for something to do and they are not even looking for anything or in any hurry. That would explain some of it. Never thought about that. I sure as hell can't imagine wanting to go stroll around home depot for entertainment

They're the same people who slowly walk through the parking lot directly in front of oncoming traffic and don't bother looking.

Before going shopping, I like to chow down on some beans, pickled eggs, cabbage, and drink some stale beer. I've yet to see an aisle I couldn't clear out.

They shop like they drive. Seriously. I've been complaining about this for years. Truly frustrating. We have several events throughout the year for groups not affiliated with the university. It never fails, the adults will look at you like you're an idiot if you say, "Excuse me, please" so they'll make a path so you can get to one end of the building to the next. The kids move over without thinking, but the coaches and parents, no. They just look at you. We had one lady ask if we could lock the doors at one end of the locker room so people would stop going through there to get to the other side of the building. We politely explained the reason people were doing this is because their group was blocking the one hallway that bypasses the locker room...they were sitting on the floor eating and blocking the whole stinking thing. She couldn't understand that it was a fire hazard and that they only rented part of the building, not the whole thing.

Before going shopping, I like to chow down on some beans, pickled eggs, cabbage, and drink some stale beer. I've yet to see an aisle I couldn't clear out. I'd love to do that, but at my age I'd have to wear depends before being able to trust the full outcome of that. There was a time though, that one of the enjoyable activities was a stroll down the main aisle in front of the checkout registers of Walmart at Christmas time.

I was at the hardware store yesterday and some quarter-ton dude was taking up the aisle all by himself. He wasn't even looking at hardware - he was slowly waddling up and down the aisle talking on the phone about refinancing his mortgage or something. I was looking for a specific type of bracket and so I needed to take a good look at everything in the aisle. Had to wait for him to move about 5 times in 10 minutes.
