My grandparents lived next door Mr Goss Texas Ranger parents. He was nice to me as a kid. And would put on a shooting demo in a heartbeat.

Caspian and others started making Damascus slides and frames many years ago.... they are fine to be fired like any other

Isn't Damascus really brittle? Could these even be fired? It's only a problem when the barrel is Damascus. Rarely will you ever see that except in some old shotguns.
