12 of us fished Choke today. Two guys weighed in five, heavy stringer was 11 lbs, big bass was 2.85. Nothing really to write home about but just wanted let y'all know the latest.

If I only went based on the reports on here, I would never go. I know I'm not that good of a fisherman but dang, it's always better than reported! Fine by me!

Mike, just fish around the grass, no need to go through it, as of 2 weeks ago.

Hopefully it will fill up some and you can experience what it used to be like! It fishes so dang small at its current levels. Someday I will get back down there.

Has anyone put in a the 99 bridge lately? Can you even launch there with the lake so low?

Has anyone put in a the 99 bridge lately? Can you even launch there with the lake so low? Yes ramp is open, not much water up there compared to what it used to be, pretty much just the river channel. I would recommend low speed travel.
