Had an awesome afternoon on the water. Caught 40 fish between me and my buddy. Had 6 fish around the 5lb mark. All caught in 17ft of water on shakeyhead and crig rigged plastics. My buddy did catch a good one on a 10xd.

I hit it last Wednesday and boated 35 with plastic in 14 to 16 FOW. I wasn't able to find a shallow bite and tried that for 1-1/2 hours. But I didn't get there till 8 am. I think the water is still a tad bit warm for a good shallow bite, but it is beginning to cool down a little. I saw water temps of 86.4 to 89.7.

Has anyone put in at the 99 bridge lately or can you even put in there? Thinking of trying a new section just to see what happens.
