Just don't do it!! Unless you have a huge fish and can get it weighed on certified scales you just give a forum to every critic in bass fishing to bad mouth your catch. Have you ever noticed that this seems to be a trait of bass fishermen? I have never seen a pic of a big crappie that was said to weigh two and a quarter be bashed. Catfish? Can't recall any.Just bass. Says something about our crowd perhaps? IDK

And some get horribly too offended by someone else's "over estimation"

I wouldn't get too upset by the opinions of some of the people on this forum.....there are some real winners.

It's easier for people to be jackholes behind a keyboard than to say, "Nice fish!" and move on.

I trust my Boga to get me within 1/4 lb or less. If someone wants to look at my photo and say they can tell more than I can looking at my scale more power to them.
But I do get your point.

Very nice!

Look at the size of that thumb--must weigh a pound or two itself! thumb

The only thing that bass fishermen lie about more than the weight of their fish is How fast their boat will run! LOL

It's all about the camera angle and how far the fish is from the camera Jerry. I've seen six pounders that look like ten and I have seen 10 pounders that look like six. You know what I'm talking about. wink
