fishing on Athens has been real tough lately.
the fish just don't want "fake" food with all the bait fish in the water right now.
it is a real grind
lots of fish,,,, but they are just not in to biting lures.
might try throwing an A-Rig or a BIG Chatterbait

I'll be there Wednesday to Friday, have a rare three days off   I may even golf at the course out there, has anyone played it?

Pretty sure that's a private course on someone's land. Looks like a few holes some wealthy resident built for themselves.

When the wind is blowing I'm catching my bigger fish along the edge of the grass with swim baits and swim jigs.
This does not produce the numbers you will get with a fluke or senko but it's great for better size.
