I try to take care my stuff but I've now broken the tips off of 3 or 4 Duckett micro magic pros. The rod box lid got a couple but the others were just gently removed from the rod box and had broken tips.
Suggestions for sensitive spinning rods under $200? I use mine for top water and (mainly) finesse worm fishing. So sensitivity and workable tip is what I value.
Thanks.

I've NEVER had any trouble with my Duckett rods, but I never put them in a rod box, not sure if that's what's causing them to break.

Return them to academy if that's where you purchased them... great return policy.

I've never broke any of mine, but I have bent some of the guides before. I removed all my rod tubes and brackets in both my rod boxes and changed to the slick rod socks(Falcon).

I made a 100% switch to Dobyns rods and have never looked backed. They are super versatile, lightweight and they have a series for each budget and all are awesome. If you want a good rod at a great price and a man and a company that stands behind them, get a dobyn's

I have never broke the tips, but I did bend the third eyelet down, when I went to straighten it broke off pretty easily.
I use rod gloves. and have not put them in the rod box. They stay in the garage till I am ready to do, then back in the garage when I get back home.
I sure hope there is not an issue with these rods, as I have seven of them. Would hate to have to swap them out.
