I was reminded the other day by watching a fitness expert that I should consider north, south, east AND west, and all points in between.

Most of my exercise is going forward and backward in rebound.

I do not do enough "side to side" work.

Don't be "that guy" who falls awkwardly to his left or right simply because he wasn't prepared. Doh! You get my meaning.

Addendum: I did some "stand-side-to-side" leg raises yesterday, along with my arms. I woke up with bad outer-thigh soreness. At'll learn me!!!!!!!!
Addendum II: That is not me in the photo!

...it will get better!

I don't do alot of standing side to side stuff, but a while back was doing alot of side to side core work outs, stuff like this. On the last one you can add a dumb bell if you really want to feel it burn.

I do those types of core twists as well, which are great!

I am going to add more "reaching, both legs and arms out to the sides" exercises that are more for the sides of my body, and not just my core.

That way, I'll be exercising my entirety in every direction.

So much thought goes into working out the body.
It's almost as confusing as "buying a horse."

You got that right. I don't know how many times I have to google a workout to remember what movement it was.

I actually pulled a tail muscle, or right where the tail and hamstring meet. It's freakin' killing me...

I hate pulling anything, not just because of the pain, but if it's too much, then it makes me miss a workout.

I try to do "something" somewhat hard at least 6 days a week without hurting myself.

I hurt myself this time simply because I did something I really never do. I was standing and bending/stretching/lunging my legs back and sideways over and over.
