We don't post much in the Crappie Section as about 90% plus of our trips are for Whites, Hybrids and Catfish, but we squeeze in as many Fall (September thru October) Crappie Trips as possible. Reason being is that " It's just so easy when the Crappie move on the Brush Piles, Timber and Bridge Columns that even we can catch em'!" grin Did a Monday Trip with two Local Regulars and managed around 35 Keepers plus a Catfish or two. This morning I went out and caught a 25 fish limit for myself between 7AM and 8:30AM and then had a Dad/Son Combo fish with me from 9AM to Noon and they managed a nice cooler of Keepers!

We have a boat open most Weekdays over the next few Weeks and even one boat open this coming Saturday, Sept, 23rd. We offer Guide Trips everyday except Sunday. These fish will be on a good pattern until we get some serious Cool Fronts in October or November. Then it's on to Catfishing! Give us a call if interested! Thanks!

One of my Customers gave me a couple of Rods with "Crooked" Handles and they are very easy to use. Gives you a little different angle when holding the Rod and an easy hook set. Used them for the first time yesterday. Not even sure what Brand they are, but sure like them.

I immediately saw that weird rod in the pic and was wondering if it was an illusion. smile Certainly strange looking and not sure I would like it.

There is not much on the internet about them except a brief mention here and there. Looks like costs between 39 and 79 depending on graphite or fiberglass. Only one place in MN started and might have them. They are called Wrist Saver Rods. I think they are very cheaply made in China. I saw one listed at 4' 6" length and sold for 9.99 on a bid site. The others I mentioned above are longer and you have to call for info or possibly email them. I think they are used mainly for ice fishing. Also I will pass on them too.

Very nice gesture to who ever gave them to you. The smile on the young mans face says it all!!!! Didn't matter to him whether the rod was crooked or straight....lol! Thanks for the report, good looking pic of you and Adam.
