Boated 50 fish up to 6lbs on CBs and traps, prolly lost another 10 to 15 before getting them to the boat. Started the day on a point with shallow grass using traps and left that spot after boating 35. Cranked the rocks and intake for the remainder. Tried top water and soft plastic only caught 1 on soft plastic, And 1 on a pop r.

We left the lake at noon.

Size and quantity today.

Fish are pretty shallow right now. Lake seems to be 1 foot high.

Shallow only worked for me early till about 8:00, cranked rocks with a 6xd, in 5-15 ft, the rest of the day.

Fish were busting all around me and could not get but 1 top water fish. The 3/4 and 1/2 oz shad colored traps caught most of our shallow fish.

It was a bit tough for Fayette standards. It took a little while to figure them out in the morning but finally found some fish biting. Ended the day with around 20 with the biggest close to 5lbs. Mostly all were caught on a shakey head rigged zoom trick worm and a drop shot.
