Fall is my all time favorite season of year to catch crappie and just happens to be the pattern on my last trip.
I didn't get on the water until 10 am Sunday morning, there were some cloud cover with very light south wind which made it very ideal in my opinion. I fished for about 5 hours checking a few different areas on the lake and catching fish in all 3 areas in as shallow as 4ft deep in 9fow to 10ft deep in 38fow. I ended up catching a limit of keepers and 10 or so short fish and I would say 90% of the fish would inhale it on the fall. One of the main reason I love fall is the crappie will be all over the lake.
In the picture Is the 4 baits I used through out the trip and to be honest in the last 3 months these are the only 4 that I have used period. I'm growing really fond of baits with action tails especially lanes chartruse frog.
I did have the GoPro running so hopefully I'll Have a video up soon.
