Crazy conditions! I launched at 4a in clear skies and calm water.....by noon, it was cloudy, windy and sorta nasty. I bet I missed 5 fish. They were all over the place....shallow, deep, open water and down in the weeds. My new Ocho did the trick on em'... Boated 9 on about 15 bites.

It was quite crowded when I left...but at 4a when I launched it was pretty empty.

Hello Fish2222. I'm not new to the Form just new to posting. Wanted to ask you about fishing Lake Athens. I have fished the lake since the early 70's. Recently lost my fishing partner, wanted to see if you need someone to fish with sometimes. I have my own bass boat and tackle.I'm semi retired and can fish most anytime with a days notice. I live in Dallas, my cell is 214-535-4850. Just don't care to fish alone anymore. Let me know either way. Love to nite fish, and I do pay my own way. Thanks
