Anyone having luck on lake Lavon? This year I've been there 3-4 times and had trouble finding sand bass. In previous years I could always find them especially at the power plant discharge and near the islands.

Been out a couple times last week and was tough for all fish. Weather maybe a factor just know it was slow. Gotta work this weekend but if you find something please share cause kicking my butt this year too!

cool, If anybody wants to split a trip with Carey thorn let me know. For Crappie and or Sand bass. Really just trying to get the kids on some fish

Went out today and caught several sand bass on North side of the island where the wind was blowing shad across the Eastern point but most were under 10 in. Marked tons of shad all over the lake. Tried for crappie but was unable to find brush piles near the dam or islands.
