I'm thinking about buying a Wahoo 1450 skiff that has a 2009 50hp Yamaha 4-stroke, with 4-blade stainless prop. Only 69 hours on the motor, looks like new.
I want to use the boat for inshore fishing on the Texas coast (when it comes back from Harvey). Is that motor safe to use in that saltwater situation?

Sure, just follow proper flushing procedures and it should be fine.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!

A belated thanks to psycho0819 for the vote of reassurance.
