Dodge doesn't make trucks, but you can check out posts about my Ram on some of the early pages. It will get 20 mpg pulling my Triton boat, it'll pull my 6,000 lbs travel trailer, and it will get 26-28 mpg commuting to work and 30+ mpg on highway trips with no trailer. There isn't another vehicle on earth that can do all of that, and it cost less than most of the Ford/Toyota/Chevy trucks also. banana

It would take me over 20 years to hit 350.

Dodge.....Ram..... whatever.

At the end of the day it's still a Fiat Chrysler product.

21,000 miles on mine with zero issues. Can't say that about my wife's Honda that she bought new, or any Ford that our family ever owned. We did have a good run with Chevy's and our Toyota's so far have been good but not perfect.

I traded my Ram 2500 in on a Tundra a month ago. Today I was cleaning out all the receipts from maintenance and repair on the beast. 2 fan-Cluthes, a Radiator, the complete AC system, serpentine belt, shocks,, 3 sets of batteries, etc. the engine and drive train were good, everything else was bad. First Ram, last Ram.

I just get a kick out of how many folks haven't caught up with news from 2009. I think most of their opinions on the brand are from those days also. The new Ram trucks are very good. Like I said, it is light years ahead of my dad's 2013 Tundra and much, much cheaper and more efficient than any of the new Tundras.

But hey, if you guys want to spend an extra $10k up front to for the privilege of putting in 20 gallons of gas to go 325 miles, that's your business. If I go 325 miles, I've got half a tank or more of diesel left, and I'm already $10k ahead for buying a less expensive truck.

Like I said, all the new ones are very good. Toyota, Nissan, Ford, GM, and Ram all make nice pickups. I love mine because I don't have to get 16 mpg driving to work and back. I respect folks that like the reliability and power of a Tundra or the features/power of a Ford. It's all good.

Dodge trucks might be good trucks for what they are in order for your truck to get that kind of gas mileage it would have to be a miracle built motor that is very rare and unheard of ! I've never even know of any car except a 4 Cyl Toyota car that would come close to that kinda of gas mileage . But a work truck ? NEVER !!

Google the Ram Ecodiesel. I thought the same thing before I heard about it last year.
