These types of posts convinced me to chose a Tundra over a GM product. I would rather spend a little extra on gas than deal with repairs whether under warranty or not.

For you guys with the 6.2, how do you like it towing? Been looking hard at an '18 Max Tow Pkg. Coming from a Duramax back to the gas motor and it scares me to death. Drove the '18 yesterday and that 6.2 rips, though.

I have this same year truck with the same engine and transmission combo. Ive had issues when putting the truck in drive and reverse. On occasion Ill put it in gear and its like there is a delay before the truck actually goes into gear. It sometimes is a 2 to 3 second delay. If I put my foot on the gas or take my foot off the brake when this happens the truck lunges forward or backwards. The truck is still under warranty and I plan to take it in soon. Anyone else experiencing this issue? There seems to be obvious problems with the 8 speed gm transmissions. Any help or advice would be appreciated. There is a repair for it. You're under warranty so take it to your dealer.
