Didn't anyone ever tell you never to put a banana in your boat?

The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach

I've never heard of that until you mentioned it and I then googled it.

I usually take 7-8 bottles of water and Gatoraid. I will freeze 3 or 4 of the water bottles and make sure everything else is cold starting out. This will usually keep everything cold for the day. I also keep my cooler out of the direct sun and on really hot days keep a wet towel over the top of it.

I really like my Engel backpack cooler..carrying rods in one hand the other hand is pulling the yak and the cooler is on my back..on flat land of course you can just put your stuff in the yak..however; where i live every lake i fish has very steep banks and everything on the yak falls off going over the banks. Ive got the model PRYM1
