Fishing 9/9 morning until 10am, boated about 13 fish, lot of fish caught on traps over shallow grass off of points and then a few on soft plastics creature baits fishing out front of cattails.

Fishing 9/10 from 4:30pm until dark, boated about 18 fish. Smoked them on traps off the points and then moved to some flooded reeds and caught them on soft plastics creature baits.

Lots of new water to fish with the water so high. All fish caught in 5ft. or less with grass and some caught flipping into the flooded reeds which was really fun.

good for you buddy...... i got smoked......i had one fast flurry at the dam and that was it......the north wind put me too close to the rocks to make it work for long......i didn't even think to throw a trap. the flipping looked to be the way to go, but i was trying some other things....
