I like the way the barrel swivel holds the blade away from the body.

How does the blade work in the water? The swivel looks to be at almost a 90 degree angle to the hook and directly opposite the hook eye. Wondering if the pull of the blade will push the jig hook up and not let the jig travel horizontally when reeled in.

I tried them out just now to see how the blades did and they worked perfect. It didn't make them rise in the water they went smooth in the water and cast perfect. I fished with a cheap spinning combo I bought at Wal-Mart for like $10. I use it for crappie.
