Is it legal to cast a net at a bayou near under the bridge by highway 6?

to catch Catfish and Alligator gar?

Castnets may be used to take nongame fish only. Pretty sure that catfish and alligator gar both are considered game fish by TPWD

Thanks buddy. I will take note of this. Those catfish are so difficult to catch. They swim up and don't eat my bait. I used shrimp, worms, and hot dogs. No luck
