Had some good fish busting shad on a point mid lake in 13 foot. I managed some nice ones once I found out what size the shad were. In my cove there are clouds of 1 inch to inch and a half size shad. The bait on the main lake is bigger 3"+, swimbaits should do well. I took a picture of one of the stund shad. Lots people in Penson today, all beaters of the bank. Have not seen a single fish caught. FYI.

A couple of the fish we caught last Sat spit up shad when we landed them. The shad were small, not much bigger than a quarter, but then again the bass was not much bigger than a dollar bill....

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.
