front end alignment cause a vibration? I bought a new set of tires a couple of months ago and they are terrible at 60 to 74 mph. Discount has rebalanced them 5 times now at two different stores. Now they are claiming front end alignment.

I think I found the issue today. I jacked up the rear wheels, put on jackstands and started it up, put it in gear and let it idle. The left rear tire is out of round. wheels run true. Right rear tire runs true. I have already talked to Discount and they agreed to replace the tire.
As far as the front end, the last set of tires went 65,000 and had even wear. This issue started when I bought new tires. Discount rebalanced the tires the next day, and has done them four more times. Discount kept saying Goodyear wouldn't let them warranty the tires till they were proven bad.

Goodyear - that's your problem. I won't buy them anymore. Two stories:

I had just gotten a new-to-me truck at 18 (regular cab chevy) and I had been saving up money for tires since they were really bald. I was making $5 an hour working at a golf course, so it was a lot of work to save up $450 to get some new Goodyears at Wal Mart. A year and 20,000 miles later, they were totally bald. Come to find out, Goodyear introduced this cheap model and only sold it to WM, and it got universally bad reviews (this was right at the beginning of internet really going wild, so I didn't really know reviews were a big thing when I bought them). I tried to work with Wal-Mart and Goodyear to get some credit for them, but they just shoved me the middle finger and I was forced to go buy new ones. I never bought tires at Wal-Mart again, and I didn't touch Goodyears again until...

Boat trailer had Goodyear Marathons on it that had lasted 10+ years. I decided to replace them with Marathons since they'd lasted so long, only to find out that Goodyear switched manufacturing from USA to China and the quality of the Marathon line had gone down the toilet. I wasted $200+ on a pair of tires that I didn't even feel safe using, so I gave them to my buddy and bought some Kumho tires.

I will never buy Goodyears again. BFGoodrich, Michelin, Pirelli, General, Bridgestone have all been pretty good to me and that's what I'll buy if I can.
