So the lake looks to be up 4 ft or so since harvey. Thinking about dumping at cassell boykins. Does anyone know of any added hazards due to Harvey?

Will check it out this weekend. Watch out for the floaters as mentioned. Also check Corps website as several ramps were closed, not sure on their status. I believe Cassels is open.

Launched at Caney Sat and at at Cassells Sun. Fishing was ok, not great. Fished the flooded stuff with little success. All fish were caught offshore in 15-25 feet. I thought the lake looked pretty good considering the rise it had experienced. I fished between Shirley and the Bridge and the water looked very good.

Any suggestions, or tips for a Rayburn rookie?

Ramps don't close. Maybe the camping area or Park but all ramps are open.

All ramps are fine. It's just over 2 1/2' high. That's nothing for Rayburn. They are generating 24 hours/day so by this weekend it will be less than 2 1/2' high. This past weekend I saw some small debris but nothing major. There are floating patches of salvinia that will scare you a little while running making you think they are floaters.

Thanks for clarifying!
