I go weekly. It is ok. Lots of dinks. Very early am they are deep. When sun comes up they move to mid water. Yellow bass are a plague good thing they taste good. My best luck has come with minnow tipped jigs (stump thumpers of course and ones that I tie). Use natural color jigs.

I caught about 30 in 5 hours. Only a few keepers though. I really had to work for them. I got them to starting biting by removing all weights and just using a live minnow and a bobber set at 24in. I pinched the lower fin off of its tail as well. This made the bite go crazy just not big ones. All of them were less than an inch short of being legal.
