This week we fished every day until Friday. Every morning was pretty solid, catching most fish in 13-22 ft of water on timber. The afternoons were the same pattern but the fish were a bit slower in the evenings. The mid day bite seemed to be really good this week too. Pink or chartreuse jig heads tipped with a minnow did the trick. Lots of small fish mixed in with the keepers. But seemed to be constant action for the most part. I took Friday and Saturday to do some dove hunts and fish fries. The birds were slow, but the fried crappie and company was great! We had a great time! I was back at the lake this morning with a south wind and we pulled 6 off of the first tree of the day and I knew it was on. We caught fish literally everywhere we went. Ended the day with 40 or so keepers. It was a great morning on a very crowded lake. I guess the holiday weekend brought everyone out. Fishing again in the morning and should have about the same results hopefully. I have next weekend open for fishing half day mornings as of now. I also have Monday-Thursday evenings available for working mans trips. This week should be really solid. I might be able to squeeze in some other half day mornings this week. It's my time of year where I have to dedicate some time to get all of my hunting stuff ready for hunters at the end of this month! But it's a great month to catch some nice crappie and the weather has been great. Message or call me if you're ready to go!

Gunter seemed to have the most flying birds from what I have seen. Fishing was incredible again today and yesterday. I booked everything up through Thursday this week. I do still have Friday Saturday and Sunday morning available to catch some crappie!

Yes sir. We just fished in the 25 mph wind and it was insane again tonight. Water temps are right and I bet they continue to eat. We will see tomorrow, but normally in the "summer" months a cold front is a good thing. And makes the fish bite really well. I feel like last week was the summer lull, and the fish just needed a break. Because it's been crazy good the last few days.
